Message: "Updated" Resource Estimate

I’ve chosen not to post in recent times in deference to those who know much more than I do about this business (although I read every message). This post asks questions rather than posits answers. I thank explorationguy for his contribution regarding the relationship between Teck and NOVAGOLD and their joint Galore Creek ownership, the resolution of which may or may not be complicating progress on Schaft Creek.

It has always been my understanding that, if Schaft and Galore were to be worked together as a super-project, it would be Schaft taking the lead. Wasn’t it Galore whose watershed ran to the Pacific, through Alaska, with inherent jurisdictional and environmental issues? And wasn’t it Galore which requires the construction of a tunnel through the mountains to the Schaft side as the only way to make it economical to work Galore at all? In which case eg’s post suggests that this one possible reason for the current impasse is due to the Galore tail wagging the Schaft dog. I may well be misinformed about either or both of the above concerns so would be pleased to be corrected.
