golf, I have a bit more faith in the NDP than you do (and some others judging by the recs) to come through for mining development and mine workers in BC - the previous conservative government (masquerading as liberals) in BC didn't do much and the NDP couldn't do worse. Still, this isn’t a political rant because we all know that it’s down to Teck in the end. It’s for that reason that I’d rather the NDP conduct an “endless study” instead of coming out overtly as “anti-mining”.

The task force does include indigenous and steelworker union reps, so it’s not just pols. I think this is the link that JayWay was talking about. If not, will someone else please post:
