Irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Let us all reserve judgement until the end of January. Let us see what management is made of and if they got the backbone to get some real developments unfolding to realize shareholder value. The next 2 months are crucial and very important for the company. Schaft Creek is all that matters, and the only thing of value to us.
I feel there is a grand play in the works here and its just a timing issue until this story concludes. This statement is interesting:
"The 2018 program as planned, is now expected to be completed by the end of January 2019"
Elmer stated (in the SC update) that the 2018 program is to be completed by the end of January as planned. How was this the plan? He was expecting the completion of the desktop studies by the end of October when Teck postponed the JV meeting by a month! That is very suspect imo. I believe something greater is afoot and hopefully it is substantial. Teck will soon announce their partner in QB2 (weeks away folks). Let's hope the focus of business shifts to us with the Laird meeting in January. Teck must inform the Laird shareholders if SC is economic which will produce a production decision. The updated technical report will also be a great selling document to get us the fair value buyout.
