Message: Teck sells 30% stake in QB2

I am excited to see what all these studies produce. You can say we are potential weeks away from huge developments (3-7 weeks). The SC property will transform before our eyes.

Keep in mind, since 2012 in which the current economic report was issued, the SCJV has achieved:

Drilling programs (extending minerialization and hitting inferred resources)

District exploration on the property

Pit slope stability studies

Optimization studies

Resource remodel of the deposit

Destop studies including mine sizing, phased approach, infrastructure costing

I read this interesting article on the benefits of a phased approach:

http://www.mining.com/web/phased-approach-to-mine-development-a-proven-business-model-for-risk-reduction/

Also keep in mind as we discovered yesterday. Teck has accounted for their inferred material within the mine plan as generating ore improving the economics of QB2. The same should be done with SC aswell.

No need to drill it for us to see the benefits of its value?
