Look at the financials.

 

QB2 first 5 years is over $1 billion USD per year.

 

SC is only ~$500-600 million per year.

 

That's a big difference. That's why there is an important slide in the CUU presentation showing mine optimzation.  You want to increase as much net cash in the inital 5 years of production.
