If I understand the JV, Teck would need to fund our portion of the capital cost.

Let's assume Schaft Creek will generates 900M FCF per year, this means 225M per year.

Therefore, one would be willing to pay 675M to double their money in 6 years (12% IRR) with zero involvement.

And that's only based on 50% of the ressource available...
