I'm thinking something like...

Dear Teck,

Instead of giving us 20M upfront and drag this for X years, please give us:

1) 4M per year until a production decision is made

2) After 5 years, if a decision is not made, Copper Fox will regain an additional 5% interest per year.

Therefore, after 10 years, we would regain control of the project.

Ok... maybe 5% is a little optimistic... but something in that nature.
