They can take their time as long as they have something good to say, serving another nothingburger will bring the wrath of investors down upon them. Waiting all this time is a struggle but I found useful advice about how to pass the time in that old Statler brother's tune:

Counting flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all
Playing solitaire 'til dawn with a deck of fifty one
Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me I've nothing to do
