YM, I took a closer look at this tonight.

My understanding is that Teck is restructuing their debt.  Instead of paying back over 500M in the next 3 years, they are refinancing the amount over the next 10 years and a good portion of it at a lower interest rate.

Therefore, less cash flow is required to re-pay debt every year and more cash flow available to make a move on Schaft Creek. :)
