No way Teck uses 50 million shares to buy us out. It would be awesome though.

Teck values their shares around $30. They've been buying back from $20s down to $10.

I'm not sure what their avg cost is but they would get crucified if they bought back shares and then redilute it back with this acquisition. The shareholders in the states or outside of Canada doesn't care about dividends. They want the appreciation in SP so they care about buying back stock and increasing the earnings per share.
