Ressources just can't be everywhere at the same time. 

For QB2, Teck had a dedicated pre-production team supporting.  It was reported that many members of that team then migrated to SC once QB2 production decision was announced.

Teck now has a dedicated team working on QB2 construction.  Once completed, it would be logical for Teck to find them another project to keep their skilled staff busy.

Teck doesn't need to wait until QB2 is built to take us out.  They can take us out and work the next 1-2 years to find the right partner, etc, until they are ready to build SC.

Who knows, we might hear something soon.
