Based on my understanding,
- Liard share owners are entitled to 30% of the net proceeds
- Copper Fox owns 7.96% of them (joint venture + direct ownership)
- Net proceeds are based on Revenues - C1 Cost
Assuming Schaft Creek would produce 400Mlbs CuEq at $3.15 US, exchange rate at 0.77, C1 cost of $0.70 CA and mine life of 21 years that would mean:
(Revenues) - (C1 cost) = (400M x $3.15 x 1.3) - (400M x 0.70) = 1,358M (net procceeds)
1,358M x 30% x 7.96% = 32.5M dividend per year.
I'll let you extrapolate how much that is worth in today's dollars, but I'm thinking easily between 320M (NPV 8%) & 500M (NPV 3%)... and that's for 21 years only...
