Just a quick tax question there's someone here that would be willing to answer… when figuring out my ACB of shares, if I include my private placement purchases just confirming my ACB is based on the Pp price and not the price they were worth when they entered my account?  

I ask because the bank docs base my ACB on when they recieved my shares

i buy pp at 6 cents, they enter my account at 12 cents, I sell at say 20 cents.  Do I have a 14 cent gain or an 8 cent gain?  I'm assuming a 14 cent gain
