Doesnt Teck have a large Chinese investor? Maybe the Alaska US/Chinese talks affected it? 

Hmmmm...that might be it.  I can't see any other explanation.

FWIW the CIC sold off over half their tck.b stake a couple of years ago and pulled their board director  even though Teck urged him to stay.
