Teck was looking for $500M US a couple of years ago for their 80% share in Zafranal.

It now has 1B after-tax NPV (8%) value, but with copper at $3.50 and gold at $1400!

They were probably looking for 75% to 100% of the after-tax NPV (8%) a couple of years ago when LT prices for copper and gold were lower.

They also still have Billions of tax credits available in Canada.

IMO.
