VD is in-situ mining. As I understand Jetti system turns waste rock below LOM cutoffs into the good stuff so all the piles of unused ore can produce copper while not affecting main stream processing. Like a side business. Capstone has had great success adding pounds of copper from its waste material. 
SC could use this technology and probably substantially increase its copper production.
