Message: Capstone

Other fun facts.

Capstone is currently producing around 200Mlbs of copper with a C1 cost around $1.70 and has a market cap around 2.2B CAD.  That's roughly 11$ per pound of copper produced per year.

  • VD (100%) would produce 85Mlbs CuEq with C1 cost sub 1$.
  • SC (25%) would produce 90Mlbs CuEq with C1 cost sub 1$.

If both would be in production, I think it's fair to say that our valuation would probably be similar if not higher.

I'm not saying we can really compare both, but just shows the disconnect in value.  If I'm a major with cash looking to secure ressources for the next 50 years, do I buy Capstone for 2.2B+ or I approch Copper Fox and try to get 50% more cash flow for half the price?

IMO.
