Nope, you can go into your profile, edit profile, and at the very bottom there is an innocent looking check box that is named something like:  'Delete Messages'.

I thought it meant delete my (private) messages so I once checked it.  And loe and behold, it meant something completely different than what a forum member here would assume what 'Delete Messages' means. 

It is actually an option box to delete ALL of your Forum Posts.  Whoever named that option box should be canned!
