He is using those numbers, because they are the only numbers that have been put down on paper for the project.  It's called using the official data that has been presented.

EG was asked his opinion on a deal that happened, and he used his quantitative data to give the requester his answer.  100% facts as released by the company.  Not "shoulds" told to members here over afternoon tea phone calls.
