Price of copper has been over $4 a pound for six months

I know that copper is taking a bit of a beating this week. But It somehow seems significant that the price of copper has been above $4.00 a pound for over six months now. It first broke that level on February 19... It seems like so long ago now. It is not just a blip of an increase anymore.
