Teck has a very solid pipeline of projects, but their 4.5B tax credit only applies to income taxes in Canada.

Out of all their potential projects, only Schaft Creek and Galore are in Canada.

Assuming they are taxed 29% in BC, applying the 4.5B in credit to Schaft Creek would provide them with an additional 1.3B.  

If my understanding is correct, 50% of the capex could be repaid only with their tax credit!  Pretty nice card to have in your hands!

I'm not quite sure how they accumulate tax credits, but the number only seems to increase year after year.
