We gotta stop these suggestions that Teck will use their shares as currency. Don L has said that Teck's share price should be at all-time highs which is north of $60 or twice what it is right now. So to him, using their 'half-priced' shares as currency is tantamount to paying twice as much compared to using cash or credit.
Teck has never used their shares to buy something as far as I can remember. They are anti-dilution oriented, buying back shares instead of issuing more.
Teck has plenty of room in their lines of credit along with cash on hand to take out Copper Fox. They can then go crazy on the project and do the ''value surfacing'' they have always promised for nearly a decade but never delivered for the Schaft Creek (no venture) Joint Venture. Then they have complete control and if need be, for risk mitigation purposes or outside expertise (neither of which I think they need at SC) , they shop for partners and probably get double to triple the amount they borrowed at next to zero interest in order to buy us out or buy our 25% of SC.
