why is the cuu or any other companies mineral deposit only valued on the copper.

We are valued based on all the metals; see latest SC and VD PEAs. I think you are mixing that up with the market cap based on the stock price, which is a lot less than the actual value. As Elmer stated many times, current SP will have no bearing in any negotiations and SP will have no effect on the sale price. A quick call to the office and you can confim that for yourself too.
