 Golfyeti, this brings back my thoughts that EE is holding out for some reason.

Yes, the greedy accountant wants more and will leave nothing on the table.  He sees a strong super-cycle for copper and sees a much bigger payday years from now.  

Or Teck is playing CF.

Well there is no question that Teck is playing Copper Fox.  Just look at how TOTALLY PATHETIC they have been as an operator.  I still contend that a Judge would slam Teck for their obvious malice.

But wait it may be now their strategy to 'hide the value and starve the jr into giving it up for cheap' is starting to cost them dearly.  And I don't mean just the cost to Teck shareholders of the mistake of sanctioning Fort Hills and QB2 ahead of us but also the value of the project is just going up up up with the metals super-cycle in the making.  So I suspect that Teck is revisting their near decades long strategy and the board is probably starting to wonder if their CEO can't bring himself to take out a project unless he finds himself at the top of the super-cycle.   That's been his track record.
