I studied communications and presented to audiences regularly in a past life.  Elmer is the worst presenter that I have ever, ever listened to.  I am not trying to be mean, but this was absolutely the definition of pathetic! 

Presenting 101 - Day one:  You are not supposed to just read the slides, and certainly not with a depressing low monotone mumble.  I swear he sounded like he was about to fall asleep or was just waking up mumbling in his sleep.   He couldn't even pronounce AISC without stuttering a couple of times, its just the most important metric accronym in his profession.  It sounded like he wasn't sure what the term represented.

I know all the do's and don't of presenting and I don't think I could deliver a worse presentation if my life depended on it.  

If someone reading this has Elmer's ear, please please beg him to have someone else present or better yet just resign.
