Russia/Ukraine is, obviously, a very volatile situation with deep impacts on the markets. 

The passing of the Emergencies Act in Canada, on the other hand, is a blip on the map. It's not going to have long-lasting implications on Canada's stability as a safe jurisdiciton in which to invest. 

But I agree with you on the sale of SC and VD. The sooner, the better. What good is a metals super cycle if we have crises coming along and wiping out significant value on the markets? The wait has been killing us.
