At minimum, they should be more transparent about their objectives.

  • "we wants fair value",
  • "we think more value could be added"
  • "the board will decide"

This is clear as mud in terms of strategy!

Selling SC 11 years ago for the pounds in the ground (e.g. $200M) and investing that money at 15% YOY would now be worth $930M!

Time is money and this is mostly only benefitng Teck at this point.
