Look at Teck's cash flow from last year.  Their cash balance at the end of the year didn't really jump from the typical $400 million range to over a billion until the very last quarter.  That was with copper being over $3 for most of the time too. Covid and Qb2 is costing a lot of money. 

 

Lets see what this next quarter is.  With oil being strong, they're going to have a good quarter.  If prices remain like this for the rest of the year, they will need to find some use of the cash.
