What do you take from Elmer's interview where the question asked about the next 12-24 months? AKA 2 years timeline

Elmer didn't calm our nerves by saying we shouldn't be here, hopefully sold.....he gives his response of lots of news flow!

Is it possible we sit here unsold for another 24 months (2 years!!)??? 
Does Elmer want to stay for a 2023 program?
