If you compare this to politics and a premier or prime minister who delivered deficits year after year and never found a way to improve things, they would be gone! Turfed from office. Voted out and replaced. 

If you think about professional sports, a general manager or coach/manager of a team that consistently underperformed from one season to the next would get the axe. Sayonara! 

Even in the business world, all kinds of presidents and CEOs are given the boot because they fail to deliver what's expected of their companies. So new blood is brought in.

But never with the Fox. We seem to be saddled with the same motley crew forever, even though their track record is piss poor! I don't get it! How in the hell can you have a stock mired in the mud for over a decade and yet enjoy such incredible job security???

It's one of life's great and frustrating mysteries.
