Why would they delay? It won't work with CUU as EE basically stops us from selling at bargain pricing.

IF anything, the longer Teck works on SC, the more value they uncover.  They benefit too because they own 75% but we get more and more expensive to take out and CUU doesn't bring any value to the table.  There will be a point in time where Teck will see that keeping CUU's 25% around doesn't not worth the value they can uncover and they will approach us with an offer.

MK, I still don't see how any combo of SC/GC is realistic? Galore still requires newmont to buy into and put money into construction.  SC is still under Teck's control until they divest it or not.  They can easily put it into construciton themselves and keep 100%.  There is a reason Teck ddint not buy novagold's 50% back in the day.
