Message: re story

Sorry should of been more clear. But did'nt want to bother you guys with the gruesome details of the story. The stock i was in was not a mining stock it was lucent technologies which was a spin off of at&t when judge Green in 1984 declared at&t a monopoly and broke up the company. Lucent is the old western eletric which was the manufacturing division of at&t. A complicated story in itself...western electric became Lucent technologies then merged with alcatel became alcatel lucent then in 2016 got bought out by Nokia. In the 1980's lucent after the break up was in the $60 price range. Years after the break up and merger with alcatel sp dropedĀ  and they did a 1 for 5 reverse split..was trading around 2.40 after the reverse split but then dropped below $1.....thats about the time i bought it and was telling Dave the former president of Royal bank of Canada about my .80 alu stock and he kept rubbing in cuu was going to blow my stock away....Hearing stories from my old stock clients how they made millions from jr miners and the 3 old timers i ran into in Arizona i decided to trade my alu for cuu....Typically I only trade established companies with proven track records and strong balance sheets...But listening to the hype from the cuu people i ran into in Az and the stories I heard from my old stock clients, decided to give cf a chance..The way I look at cf, it's is a very expensive lottery ticket. But the fundamentals are definitely there based on the strongest outlook for copper/metals from the demand and supply sides in the past 10000 years. One thing I'll never forget is when I was over talking to the old time poster here's wife...this was after teck only took 75% and cf plummeted to .10...I asked her are'nt you concerned it's going to be awhile before cf comes back..she said with 100% conviction " oh no it's pounds in the ground not concerned at all " well that was about 7 years ago and we're still waiting...I'll be 65 next month....going to see a nutritionist next week so that I can possibly extend my life another 20 years just so i'll have a better chance of being alive if and when the cf buyout occurs
