Message: Teck is smart

YM I totally agree with you.  Give CF and Elmer some sweets and they'll be as happy as a child.  On the other hand, I wonder why Teck would want to delay the development of SC?  What is the benefit to them and why should they wait to buy out CF.  The buyout price only increases substantially and is therefore not in Teck's favor financially.  The only thing that could be done is that they want to minimize their risk and make sure SC has enough potential, but I think that's clear by now.  What further guarantees does Teck need to justify buying out SC?  Waiting even longer with the buyout will not cost Teck tens, but possibly 100 millions in extra financing.  Explain that to your shareholders.  In short: I don't understand Teck's strategy.  can someone on this forum explain to me why Teck would want to slow down and possibly pay 100 million more for CF?
