if Teck and Newmont were planning to merge Galore and SC I think it would be wise to quickly buy CF's 25%SC before Glencore gets too much power.  And if Newmont wants to be active in BC so much, it is also wise to buy Eaglehed (a 2nd SC according to Elmer) as soon as possible before another party beats them to it.  You know what, perhaps more convenient to take over CF in its entirety.
