"Biden came out last week pushing green agenda even harder. Wants 60% of new vehicle sales in U S to be ev's by 2032. I have my doubts U S will will have a green power grid and charging stations in place to service all the new ev's by then but regardless bullish for copper and base metals demand."
I have noticed that EV's are constantly increasing their range, already with some in the 700-800 km range, so there may not be a need for that many charging stations. One at every gas station may do. Charging times are dropping too.
These longer ranges also allows the vast majority to get back home for home-charging before complete depletion.
OT: With that kind of range I can travel from the bush to the city and back about three times before recharging. I can't wait to ditch the "dirty" combustion engine. EVs are faster anyway. Ever see a Tesla S Plaid at the quarter-mile track? Beats absolutely everything! Even the most ridiculously hopped-up, turboed and supercharged muscle cars, old and new. At $3 CUU, I've got the green light to get one, hehehe
