“Teck is moving aggressively to open new mines in B.C. and we know their priorities,”

If the Premier said the word 'mine' as in non-plural, then okay it might not mean that much. It would still perk my ears quite a bit. 50/50 chance... But he said "aggressively to open new mines... ', plural.


And why immediately add:  "...and we know their priorities," 

This almost sounds like its from a viewpoint that "Can't offer details but we know Teck's true priorities (B.C. mines) and you don't..."
