Im thinking that IF the split happens Teck will get all their ducks in a row to make them as attractive as possible to a buyer. While another major might be ok with Newmont as a 50% partner on Galore I doubt they want the sucking slug that is CUU along for the ride. Also no cash for anything else so something has to give and SC is the most advanced asset in their company. Always JMHO.
