It's all about the timing. CUU was far more than a 10-bagger already for those who got in at 20 cents or less in 2009. 

But those who bought in mid-2011 and stuck it out are still licking their wounds all these years later. 

Same applies to the example Kaiser uses in the video you linked to: Eskay Mining Corp. You could have picked up shares for around 15 cents in 2020. Those shares were worth more than $3 a year later. 

But today? Eskay trades for 66 cents. 

"Buy and hold" often holds true with blue-chip stocks. But in the penny stock game, timing is everything.
