The USGS just declared copper to NOT be a critical mineral. Price of copper dropping on oversupply issues. Chinas recovery not as good as expected. A major recession indicated by the price spread of gold/copper. 

There are other headlines I could have used but current sentiment is very negative for copper. Tecks share drop is part of the big picture. 

Don't look now but ES and EE might have missed the boat yet again.
