Same type of trading activity happened a couple of years ago, almost bringing the SP to $0.01 for a minute.

How profitable would it be for someone to knock the SP down with one trade and then call his broker to fill an empty TFSA with CUU shares at the low of the day?

That could make one save a lot more in taxes than the lost shares... that's if they were really lost and not transferred to another account during the process.
