Hey Calvin, wouldn't you agree that Schaft Creek is more advanced, accessible, simple, and way less risky than Galore on pretty much all fronts?  If Teck likes Galore then they should totally love Schaft.

Teck has been studying Schaft Creek for 15 years+ and optimizing the 2013 Feasibility Study for the last ten.   There have been no major design configuration changes since.  Teck performed only minor drilling over ten years despite the obvious mining district potential.  As minor as this drilling was it produced major improvements to strip ratio and tailings mgmt.

Imagine how much better the economics would be if they seriously drilled the main zones and then applied all of their RACE 21 mining innovation technologies.  Imagine the use of driverless electric haul trucks and the impact on economics given that more than half of opex is diesel and driver pay.  Imagine the improved economics of railing out the concentrate.  Teck has clearly not put their best foot forward and its for a number of strategic reasons like, imo,  "they don't need to know more in order to know the (low) risks and (high) returns", and "why surface and expose massive value when its your goal to starve-out and steal the minority interest?"

Funny how the already way, way overdue Galore PFS ETA keeps getting kicked down the road year after year after year.  It doesn't take five years to complete a PFS unless there are some serious impedements (access and processing logistics) that they can't seem to overcome (without Schaft part of the picture).

Too bad about Red.  He seems like a real no-nonsense straight-shooter kind of guy.  I'll bet he got tired of all the juvenile games the Teck board wants him to play.
