In a previous post JJ said

"IMHO,Newmont wants more copper and not coal so i can seen that in the not to distant future Newmont and Teck merging and creating a mining district in the Golden Triangle with a smelter,"

This article from Rick Mills is from two years ago, but I think it makes even more sense today with the various governments view on metals.
