Unfortunately it looks like we are all going to just have to accept that nothing is going to occur in the next few years…
The latest investor presentation (Jan 2024) doesn’t even discuss long term projects, and of course SC isn’t included in anything near term for Teck. I haven’t ever before seen Teck blow people outa the water with a surprise wild card like suddenly moving up a long term asset and dropping a bunch of cash to buy them out only to not do anything about it till 2027 at least. We are listed closer to 2030 and beyond and that’s disgusting cause that would put most of us at 20 yrs in this nightmare. With no direction from our own management (who supposedly is supposed to be acting in our best interests), we are completely in the dark. Since we are not told of any plans, updates or news… we have to assume that it will be just like last year (no other historical events to suggest otherwise). Waiting for the 2024 plans from Teck, summer rolls around, PP ensues, 50% decrease in SP… Rinse and repeat till 2030.

Another thought is what exactly is SC’s timeline according to Teck…
According to slide 17 we are literally dead last in the long term growth. What does that look like? 2030? 2035? 2040? There Is no date, but the “near term developments” says path to double again over the next decade (presentation from Q3 2023).

I am begging for someone who has some concrete slides, data, info that suggests otherwise. It’s so horribly frustrating the silence of our own management, it screams incompetence in every aspect possible.
Does anyone here as a SH want say another 10 or 20 years of yearly studies and increased value of SC? How much more value could be added vs years of life blead away and dilution? If we went another 20 years, and got to 1 billion shares out, then what, we would need our 25% SC worth to be around 5 Billion to make any money… like for real, WTF are these guys doing…
