Thanks golf. Your post prompted me to take another look at the Critical Mines study posted in President’s DD by kinte (see link on the right). Just to confirm that, yes, Schaft Creek is one of the fourteen critical mines included - critical for renewable energy requirements so copper and molybdenum were listed but not gold and silver, although I’m sure someone will find a use for the latter two. The alphabetical mine listings in the study made me laugh. On all three instances Schaft was misspelt as Shaft! Let’s hope it’s not a case of the study preparers knowing something we don’t know!
