If the minority shareholders had any say in who is elected to the board then you are probably correct. Problem is that we have been told for years that no sale will happen unless the board and EE reach fair value, without disclosing what range that might be or disclosing what factors/ data would support it. While EE and the board could bully us on accepting a sale without any disclosure, that smacks of minority oppression and potentially raises the ugly L word. 

Frankly I doubt the board would try and shove a sale down our throat without some disclosure just to ease market concerns about the company. More likely and more cynically, the minority would jump at a chance to get something out of their investment even if it was much less than the amounts speculated on this board.
