Message: Int'l Bankable Feasibility Study (IBFS) in China prepared by Tetra Tech Warthrop

FYI:

There are several companies around the world that Tetra Tech prepared their BFS for in Google, all with decent timelines for completion. Here's one example in China where it took 16 months from start (commissioned) to finish report (released). Size of location: 45 Km by 10 Km. Shaft Creek is 45 Km by 85 Km but it has taken how many years and still not finished? And the China project had problems with language barriers, travel, local government and Securities policies and guidelines, etc.

2. BACKGROUND TO THE PROJECT

In May 2008, Minco Silver Corporation (Minco Silver) commissioned a bankable feasibility study on Fuwan Silver, an operation based on underground mining and milling of the ore producing a silver/ lead concentrate and a zinc concentrate on site in the township of Fuwan, approximately 45 km southwest of the provincial capital of Guangzhou, China.

Wardrop Engineering Inc., now Tetra Tech Inc.

1, as the lead consultant, prepared the International Bankable Feasibility Study (IBFS) in association with China Nerin Engineering Co. Ltd. (Nerin), Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and P&E Mining Consultants Inc. The IBFS was followed by a National Instrument 43-101-compliant Technical Report. Minco Silver released the results of the IBFS on September 28, 2009.
