I wouldn't put a lot of weight on the lawsuits/investigations. Lawyers will be present any time there is a large drop in share price (take a look at how many law firms are "investigating" Blackberry for instance). The management at Pretium is smart enough to avoid getting themselves in any legal trouble.
It's interesting to watch this unfold. On the one hand is Snowden who has essentially built the resource estimate using probabilities generated from 200,000m of drilling. They recognize this deposit is very random and that it must be bulk mined.
On the other hand is Strathcona who wanted to produce something more accurate from their 100 samples they obtained. The problem is the deposit is so random that their samples are not correct.
I'm holding my judgement until we receive all the mill results.
