Hey Hotmuck
That would be no geologist would want to ruin "HER" reputation
Cougar's properties are well-positioned, with known gold showings and attractive geological settings in a remarkably under-explored belt, despite its recognition as being highly prospective for gold mineralization. Exploration by San Gold and others has shown that a variety of rock can be host to gold mineralization, and that structural setting is a far more important consideration than rock types in terms of localizing gold mineralization. Basic prospecting of known and new quartz structures is still a highly effective tool. Cougar will conduct an aggressive exploration program of known gold bearing quartz structures followed by diamond drilling on its properties in 2009. The company is in negotiation with other claim-holders in the area to enter additional option agreements, and the preparation of a National Instrument 43-101 compliant report has been commissioned on our present claim holdings. Linda Caron, MSc, P.Eng, a Qualified person under NI 43-101, conducted a 3 day property examination of Cougar's holdings in late April. She has recommended a program of stripping and sampling of at least 5 quartz veins on Cougar's properties and permit applications have been submitted to conduct this work as a first step of Cougar's 2009 work program.
