I'm not sure what you mean by the above statement. Are you saying that if the Geologists or the drillers saw visible gold in a drill core they have to keep it a secret until the assay results are out ? Even if they have to, human nature being what it is, they wouldn't.
I was at the Bralorne Mine in BC three years ago and the VP of Exploration showed me a 10" length of beautiful white quartz riddled with gold. It was later assayed at 11 oz. per ton.
But before it was assayed everyone within a 10 miles radius of the mine knew about it...........and kept their fingers crossed that the "Hand of God" had finally come to the Bridge River Valley.
