Crocodile Gold Corp. (TSX:CRK)(OTCQX:CROCF)(FRANKFURT:XGC) ("Crocodile Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Stephen Woodhead has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing the outgoing Chief Financial Officer, Brad Boland. Mr. Woodhead is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with 20 years of experience in the natural resources and public sectors. Stephen has served in senior financial positions with several public companies, including as Chief Financial Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. until it was acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. in 2006. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vaaldiam Mining Inc.


Mr. Boland has agreed to assist the Company through the December 31, 2010 year-end reporting period and assist Mr. Woodhead during his transition into the CFO role. The Company would like to thank Mr. Boland for all his efforts during his time with Crocodile Gold, specifically his contribution in the transition of the Company to a publicly traded gold producer with an exciting future growth profile.

Crocodile Gold is a Canadian company with operating gold mines in the Northern Territory of Australia and a land package of over 2,500 km2. Crocodile Gold is currently mining from the Howley, North Point and Princess Louise open pit mines and the Brocks Creek underground mine. Crocodile Gold commenced mining in November 2009 and announced its first gold pour in December 2009 at its Union Reefs Mill. The Company is currently developing the Cosmo underground mine. Ore is currently processed at the 2.4 million tonne per year Union Reefs Mill.
